most of our down town is a ghost town.

everything has moved to either Wal-Mart or along the by-pass.
Down town is a couple specialty shops and a really good steak house.

Evening

JWBM good to see you made it back home before the storm. Looking forward to your pics.

Hasn't warmed up yet but were keeping our fingers crossed. Started to drift this afternoon and the plows were out so should be good tomorrow in the AM.

See you In the AM.

Pretty much everyone here drives 30 to 40 miles to the next larger city near here anytime they need something or want to go for a night out.

Night shift checking in....

Claude... its quiet time in here from 2330 to 0500.... none of that racket or you'll be confined to the barracks! ( and you may wind up having to clean teh janitors closet for him!!!)

Cold night, gonna drop to around zero*( 32 for you canadians)..

Theres a program around here call "freecycle" its designed to keep stuff out of the landfills.. say you have an old desk you dont want anymore.. instead of throwing it out, you post that you have it, and someone who can use itwill take it for you...

So a post gets put on there "free hardwood firewood, all you can haul"....
so I call teh lady, she says its all hedge wood, oak and walnut. GREAT!!!
so this afternoon, I drive 45 minutes to this ladies house to find that it IS all oak and walnut......still standing! she is looking for someone to clear cut a wind-row for her.....
so not much sleep today, gonna be along night.....

Coffee is on, donuts are freshly unloaded and sleeping on teh counter....

see yall in teh AM...........CD
