Re:Water Cooler NOV 2-8

Up early and singing "Back in the Bat Cave again".
The schedule doesn't look too bad. Only gonna be gone TDY/TAD for 2 weeks this month, 3 weeks in Dec, and 3 weeks in Jan(for right now). Got lots of new equipment to help field so it looks like I'll be doing the "snow bird" travel routine for a while. Ought to be able to rack up some extra money with all the miles I'll be putting on the truck. Appears I'll be doing a Ft. Hood/Dallas/Ft. Riley/Huntsville/Anniston/Baltimore loop. I'll just hang my hand out the window and wave.

MONDAY.

Temps supposed to be in the low 80s again today.
Nice weather for DC this time of year.

Work week could go either way.

Is it Friday yet?

Mornin' men.

Spent all weekend working the garden in preparation for my absence. It's looking real good now.

Real nice weather we are having around these parts. Enjoy the day and stay positive.

Shortround - I'll wave to you from the plane window when I fly over your place in the am. ;D

Stay safe.

John

Re:Water Cooler NOV 2-8

Morning all,
Nice to be back at work after a weekend "getaway". Can use the time today to rest up. If any of you ever get out to Texas and can get to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, it is breath taking (really, I mean it took my breath away climbing the mountain, my gasping and wheezing is all that you hear on the camcorder). Seriously, it is awesome. You can camp there as well. I believe they have hookups for you "campers" with 5ers as well.

Have a good one y'all.

Hey Dennis, what kind of climate does Virginia have? I always thought that it was similar to what we have here. We're in the 40's this time of year for a high temp. I'd be diggin' that 65* right about now. The Pheonix race is about to begin. Boogity, Boogity!

Mornin Ya'll,,,,,,,
We are having a warm spell here Dewain, however I think that our winters are much milder than yours up there. It seems to me that we don't get anywhere near the cold winters like we used to when I was younger. But I'm NOT complaining one bit! ;D
I've got to start my 4-12 shift today which means I need to get going if I'm going to do anything constructive before work,,,,,,,,,, Jeeze,,,,,did I just say that?,,,,,,, : ,,,,,,,,,

Re:Water Cooler NOV 2-8

Good evening all and I hope your day has been and will be better than mine. Just when I thought I would be getting some more goodies for the truck. All heck breaks loose and I have new bills to pay. SHoot me please! I am on the phone with Rod and the missus calls me on anther line, put her on hold and make up some excuse while talking to Rod. Hang up with Rod and call the missus, who has hung up now. Get the verbal abuse and decide it is time to take the rst of the afternoon off. Get home to find out what the damage is, still haven't built up the courage to call Rod back and cancel the order. Never really had anything concrete with Rod but dang it was close. Murphy needs to find a new victim. Oh well life most assuredly will go on tomorrow and I willeat crow with Rod. God has a plan and the plan dosn't include mods from wildcat just yet! Everyone have a gret evening and a better week. God bless and live life like today is your last!

Re:Water Cooler NOV 2-8

I think I found the secret to taking care of the Monday Blues ... I took the day off. Felt so good, I think I will see if it works on Tuesdays too 8) .

Man, what a storm we had last night. One lightning strike knocked everyones power out for about 45 minutes. Then it rained like crazy alllllll night. So much for fishing today . Poor ol' FiverBob isa gonna be lookin like a drown'd cat campin in this weather.

Well, I guess I better get my coffee filled and get on with reading the other posts. Y'all be good.
