Morning all,
Nuther hot weekend with no rain, gotta prime myself to spit. Was able to get the wife on the new ATV this weekend and no one got hurt She is slooooow on it, (she says cautious, I say scared) but was getting faster as the day wore on. I'll give her 2 weeks until she is passing me on my motorcycle.
Have a good one ya'll.

Had to go to a company boondog, er ah, seminar last week at a ski resort in Pa and was on nighs shift overseeing a diesel package the week before that.
Getting really tired of this work thing.

Re:Water Cooler August 3-9

Morning y'all,

Trying to choke some coffee down so I can attain a greater plane of conciousness. Still broke off from Saturday morning - Spark Chaser, you gettin any love on those fires up there? Hadn't seen a good vegetation fire down here in a week and a half, but we had a structure fire Saturday morning that made up for it. A very large vacant house is now a very large parking lot. We did manage to save the foundation and made a good stop on the attached garage.

Spent Saturday afternoon laying on the couch trying to recover, then spent all day yesterday cleaning stalls, mending fence, and mowing grass. Didn't even get to wash the truck :'(

K, done whining now........Have a special DTR day.....

Re:Water Cooler August 3-9

Morning all, secured the day slot for this pick. This caused me to have a short weekend as my weekends off will change. :'(
BUT! I get Wednesday and Thursday off already ;D.

Folks were up visiting Saturday. Everybody had a great time, lots of food. Few storms blowing through. Nice campfire going all weekend, and the girls went wading/swimming the creek. Bugs weren't too bad. Folks were impressed with the work done to the cabin

Shortround, sounds like the old guy bit the rumor mill! ;D

Happy Monday, guys! We're leaving on Thursday to visit our son, who is doing an internship in computer science in Stamford, Connecticut. Any of you guys out that way? We will be there from Saturday until Tuesday or Wednesday. Looking forward to the trip, except we have to take my wife's Safari van and not my CTD! Oh, well. :-

I'm about an hour forty-five from Stamford. But go by there frequently on our trips back to the South Jersey area. Do you have directions to get there? I'll be glad to PM you with travel directions.....Tom

Dewain, when you need to take brakes, get off the turnpike!
On the weekends, the crews can't clean them fast enuff, even if you could wait that long in line.

Re:Water Cooler August 3-9

Spark Chaser,
Thanks for the links - - I will pass them on. Hate to see that - - such gorgeous country. Apgar is one of our favorite places. Traffic is just so slow trying to get around all the critters that direct traffic from the middle of the road.

A hot one in Florida today - - wow, I think it may be August. Oh well, sure is nice in October - and Nov - - and Dec - - and, well you get the idea.

Re:Water Cooler August 3-9

I just unloaded 2 yards worth of sand out of the truck today. Did 4 yesterday. Got 2 more to go. I'm tired. The truck's nasty. All my clothes are dirty. That's about it. I hope.
