Spent all last week in Charlotte NC, drove home Friday afternoon, loaded up two tractors Saturday morning and took them to Blackstone, drove home from Blackstone Saturday evening, gotta drive back to Blackstone this morning to pick up the two tractors, drive home from Blackstone and unload tractors, gotta drive back to Charlotte first thing in the morning.
Who has time to lay around I ask you? :

Welcome to Monday.

News stated on Friday that the company and the union have come to a tentitive agreement after 4 months of negotiations.
No big raise (wern't looking for one anyway) but benefits ramain the same, Job security, and prevention from layoffs, and relocations for 5 years. ;D 8)

Gonna be waaaay too nice to be at work. ;D

Sunny & temps in the upper 70's forecast for the next week.

I'm starting to develop that "Eye" trouble again.

Gonna be nice here also. Now that thing are "becoming less hectic", I'm thinking seriously about taking off a couple days to relax a bit before the next JTA session begins. Maybe I can get in a bit of dove hunting, walleye and smallmouth fishing, getting the fall/winter garden ready, service the truck and tractor, put up some more fence, burn a couple brush piles, lay out the pond banks so the dozer operator can get started digging, put another layer of SB2 on the driveway, and have myself some cool refreshing adult beverages. Just relax a bit. That's all I want to do.

Well, I'm back from Charlotte finally and my truck is a few pounds lighter. It seems that some censored censored censored lightfingers figured out that they needed the stuff that was in my tool box worse than I did. I was going from the Courtyard Marriot on Harris Blvd down I 85 when the tool box lid popped open. I knew I was in trouble. I stopped at a store to get some chewing gum and when I opened the box, four tool boxes were gone. All of my ratchet tie downs, my 25 foot 600 amp jumper cables, half a case of oil, three folding chairs, and other things had conveniently been removed. The truck was sitting right outside my room at the time. I just can't believe in this day and age that people resort to that stuff but I guess that just shows how in the dark I am. My son always tells me don't trust anyone, I guess he is right. So I'm out about $500 dollars worth of stuff just like that and insurance won't pay. Can you imagine how mad I am right now?

Hey DD,
If I brought you up an old green 1954 Oliver 77, would that make you feel better? I'm trying to make up an excuse to get back up that way and the way I've got it figured is that I can drop a gun off at Tops, ride a scooter with SH, and dump a tractor off at your place. All in one trip.
Wonder if the wife will go along with that ??? ???
