Monday AM and back at the desk.
Last week's school over, now it's back to the DWI grind.
Ride in on the G-G was nice as outside temps are 69*-70*.
Office temps STILL @ 87* at 0630.......
Base Silly Engineers will be getting a Monday-Morning wake up call at 0730 as soon as they take the phone off of call forward.
Hope my "Backfill" did at least some of the work while I was gone.
Is it 1500hrs yet?
Y'all B safe,

Hey, if any of you don't have anything to do today, my Rancho RS9000's are suppose to be here today and I could use a little help putting them on. It won't be too bad today, only about 100* with a heat index of 105 to 110. It sure would be nice to have an AC'd shop.

Yawn... smack... smack....
Monday... Yuck... Where is my tea cup.. It's empty...
Well it another week to start now. I've got 3 jobs to do this week and I'm sill waiting on parts. kinda sounds like Shovelhead and his A/C problems. The only difference is mine I ordered the wrong parts and now I must re-order the right ones. Which I did last week.
Now I'm waiting on the FedEx guy...
In the meantime I've got to wait till 10am for the city center opens. By then the temp will be rising in Riggins, ID and I get to work in the sun while trying to install a computer in a marquee sign... Oh Fun! Hopefully the guys in Canada got it fixed up...

Well, just about ready to call it quits for the evening shift. Another system installed and data conversion done. Got the file server churning away on the last of the data and I'm ready to go find a hotel.

Gooood Morning (I think)
0350 on the Right Coast and I'm still at work.
Look like this workday will be about 18 hours long.
Gonna need some of Shortround's industrial blend coffee to keep my eyes open until 1530hrs.

PT? Isnt that some sort of Chrysler?
I get enough excercise lifting this and yawning.....
Slow night 'round the post last night, just enough rain to keep the skunks that are invading the place away, not enough that I'll have to shine my boots before my next shift.
Got word yesterday that the folks who are buying our house got their financing thru, we close on the sale of ours on the 30th and close on the purchase of the new place the 31st. How much furniture can a CTD with a ten foot flatbed haul?
We'll be having a house/barn warming party once all the painting, patching, flooring, barn-building, corral makin' and stall installing gets done...
I'll let y'all know when.
Day shift is rolling in... time to act like I'vebeen hard at work...

(reaches up an caresses the dent in my forehead from the flying trash can)
Alright, who's the wise knothead that threw the trash can?
(now aiming the 300 Win Mag looking for a target)

So of us guys had night duties... Quiet on the deck... (Throwing the pillow back at him)
Darn page tones went of last night. we had a grass fire (lightning strike) that was mis-reportedin the wrong spot. (Beyond our district). By the time we found the fire the USFS had the fire under control. So we got RTS'ed (Return to Station). No really work but a long night of chasing a fire around.
Now sometime this morning I got to run the truck (fire truck) into town to fill up with diesel fuel... No... It not a Cummins it a Dura-Max... My Cummins pulls better that that ol' Dog!

Oh the joys of the rental car business.. I gotta say though, I love being the one managing it I can do stuff like this!
Im off to make some and Im trying to find a decent place around here that sells prepared carne asada for the bomb/bbq this weekend.
