From now until Ed runs out of Fridays to take off, I suggest we post someone at his place with garbage can detail every Friday at 0330. Any volunteers?
Joel, you need to tell us how you REALLY feel about people taking Friday off
Sherod, I see parts of KY were hit with a small earthquake. Did you "do" something to your truck and fire it up for a test? KY Quake
Thanks for the coffee JKE. Cup #2 is almost history.
Hardest part of my day is done, I got out of bed. It's all downhill from here.
Later ya'll,
~Rob

Rob, nope slept right through it, but the wife said she felt some shaking. With all the booming and banging from Ft Knox ranges, we normally don't think about the house jumpin.
Woulda made a better answer if I said yes to some major Bombing, huh.

Checking in to let y'all know I'm OK. Short day today, only 18 hrs. No doubt that I've got AIDS (**** Is Dragging Severely). Finished up 265 troops today. They go home Sunday. Ran over 500 thru the same building yesterday. Ft. Sill said 150 wasn't taxing them, so guess what we did , overloaded their hiney.
I'll be out of contact tomorrow. Got a "special mission" tomorrow. Big Boss needs me to change front brake pads on his truck (98 2500 CTD). Also have to fix him charcoaled ribs and keep the beer cold. The mission is dangerous, but I have so much respect for the guy that I didn't hesitate for the mission. With the way some of the awards get handed out around here, I might end up with a Meritorious Service Medal. I know one Major that never got out of the base camp and got a bronze star and a combat infantry badge. A 122mm rocket hit the back gate (2 miles away) and he single handedly sounded the alarm without consulting the battalion commander.
I'm going to bed and sleep in until at least 0600.

Whoever said "A watched pot never boils" apparently didn't have a coffee pot.
Man that thing's taking forever to finish brewing this morning.
No activity in the galley yet.
Trashcan lauchers are armed and ready.
Good to hear you're OK out there SR.
I know our guys & gals are in good hands.
It's the beer supply I'm worring about.
Gonna be a nice day here with ptly cloudy skies and temps near 60.
Enjoy your weekend.
Y'all B safe.

Mornin folks,
looks like a nice day brewing here too! I may take the time to give RATTLIN a bath and then go over to Dad's and check out the new accessories he has put on the new CTD so far. He's got the new sliding 5er hitch in and installed the rear inner fender-wells, tonneau cover, bug screen and vent shades. The SS running boards are on order and he already put the new tool box in. He didn't waste any time making this truck look just as good as his 2000.

Another gorgeous morning in Paradise. I think my plants all grew a foot yesterday after all that rain in the middle of the week. Lazy Saturday - - more time to plan the trip and make reservations. Getting close.
