[QUOTE=Chrisreyn;1229232]...we DID have a purpose other than keeping Navy/Marine wifes warm while hubby was on Med cruise...

Yeah, like donating your organs to science after I come home early on the advance party. My wife has already had 'someone who was just trying to make sure that she was ok while I was gone' come over. That didn't work out well for him at the time, and when I came home, things really did not go well.

My wife said she wouldn't have anything to do with the navy/CG anyhow. Not a high enough class of marine life...

Sure do. I can play. I said it earlier, if you made me mad, you'd know. Only a few people on the site really know who I am, (met me, or talked to me in person). The rest have no clue about me. Why would I care what you said in the first place? You don't know me. I try not to be petty.

Whoo HOO!!!! Let's all have a little FUN!!!!! Marines ARE retards... Ever seen a bunch of grown men (and women) barking, snarling, and drooling all over themselvs before? Total chaos!!!

I'm not being mean, am I? Or, are we all just scared of the Marine? This is the second person that asked if they made me mad.

Did I hurt your little squidly feelings,Chrisreyn ?

I love you guys, (not in a navy way), and I am proud to be able to post on this thread with other Vets.
Semper!!!!

Madhat, if you EVER get a chance to be in Carnegie Oklahoma( just NW of Ft Sill) on the Marine Corp b-Day, stop in a Red Buffalo Hall and visit the Kiowa Marine Vets Dance......
scary? 4-500 Kiowa marine vets cutting loose...
Last time I went( 3 years ago) there were 2 still around who were Bataan survivors, a few WWII 5th Division vets( Iwo Jima) and more Vietnam vets than i could count...
My bro-in-Law, retired GunnieSgt, has a custom made Pendleton Blanket with the Corp emblem on it. If he even thinks he may be away from home for the night, it goes with him, 'cause he cant sleep without it. he lied about his age and joined the Corp in 1943 at 14 yrs of age. He retired after 37 years of service......

he gives me heck about the CG as well....
