Vets!!!!
Just wanted to remember all the vets for memorial day. May God bless and keep all of you. Thank you for your sacrafices......

Please Join the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Honoring our fallen Service Men and Women.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars will be hosting our annual Memorial Day service in the port of Brookings on the Board walk on May 30th at 11.00 AM. (If raining the service will be held at the VFW Post.)
Our Guest Speaker will be Officer Kelby McCrea of the Brookings Police Dept. Kelby Is also an Army Captain who served in Iraq.
Please Plan on attending if you can.

Just got an E-mail from my cousin. He had the privilage of a Toby Kieth concert in Iraq the other day. Got a CD autographed and will be on a 10sec. shoutout sometime on Memorial Day on CMT.

Thank all of you in the military, past and present. I really appreciate you guys and gals. You are the best and we all owe you a debt of gratitude we can never repay.

Make sure you thank a WWII vet. The greatest generation is fading fast. Without them the world would be a much different place.

First of all, great thread....
Secondly, thanks to my grandfather who served during the European campaign of WWII..... somehow lived to witness the signing of the armistice......
Thirdly, thanks to my father..... he served in Vietnam and survived to tell me his stories of survival..... of course, my parents have allowed me to pursue my dreams and become a structural engineer.
Lastly, and most certainly not least... in fact, on par with the rest.... I thank the Veterans of the War on Terrorism. Several of my friends have served in Afghanistan(yes, there is still conflict in this budding Democracy) and Iraq....
