Anyone else watch this show?
There are very few TV shows that I actually watch on a regular basis, and this is one of them. I have no military experience and I'm pretty sure that much of what goes on in that show is pure Hollywood, but I like it anyway.
Just wanted to see who else watches it.

I caught the last half , good episode , been watching since the first , what I didn't like was the soap opera [ getting the womens side ] , I watch the action part , the other isn't too bad but thats not what I watch it for , so I'ld like to see all action / tech.

Actually that show is pretty right on for alot of it. The producer is an ex-Delta Force guy named Eric Haney. I have read the book the show is taken from "Inside Delta Force". So he is also the consultant for the show and much of it is taken from things he has actually taken part in. True I am sure a good portion of it is "Hollywood" BUT there is also much of it that is true to form. We don't know alot of what they do behind the scenes in the Special Forces. They need to keep much of it Secret so the people they have to go against don't know what is coming at them. All in all it's a great show, does drag a bit at the home scenes but they gotta try to keep the woman interested in it too...and that wouldn't happen if it was all blood and guts...

The Unit makes the sticker shock from upgrading to High Definition much more acceptable.
It consistently has the best 5.1 surround sound I've heard.
Episodes like last nights, with lots of gunplay and explosions, really shine.
As far as the reality factor, maybe we'll have to ask our own Top.

I try to watch that one, but usually on tuesday nights, when american idol is not screwing up the programming.......again, I watch House, that's a cool show. The Unit is sweet though, one day I'll have a tevo or dvr and can watch both shows.

I've got it set up to record whenever I miss it. Well I missed the last episode(looked really good too!) Started to look why. My girlfriend had me record American Idol for her and it bumped my show. I changed that now I want to buy it on DVD.

That is one of the few shows I try to watch when possible. Havent seen many lately but isnt too far off from reality. As on of the posters above said, there are many things that go on that we wont know about, and it takes a special person to do that kind of work.
