This is the type of vehicle I normally haul

Well, I cant say where I picked this up from but these are the types of vehicles that I pull. Lamborghini's, Ferrari's, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, etc etc. I am a driver for a highline vehicle transportation company as well as Classics/Antiques. This specific vehicle is a retired Ferrari Challenge vehicle. It is a 355 Challenge.

Wow! That's nice, bet you have to carry some major insurance! I saw something on tv once, some garage thing and they for some reason were doing something to an Enzo Ferrari and they mentioned they had to find a special carrier to deliver it because they needed X amount of insurance to haul it.

You can never beat a Ferrari. You can be faster, tighter, tougher or stronger. But you can't beat a Ferrari.

Is that a cell phone antenna on the back windshield? It would be a shame to desecrate such a nice car with a through-the-glass cell antenna?!?!? Besides with a car like that why would you ever talk on the phone while driving?

---oh yeah right to call your lawyer to get you out of a 180MPH ticket.

---but you can make calls from jail

---so you don't need a phone in a car like that.

i'd say that is a data acquisition system since it is a race vehicle.

yeah, the tips were first thing i noticed.

prolly because it is a corporate car, no one cares if they are uneven.

Precision in terms of tip placement was probably the last thing on the race teams mind. Their repairs and fixes have to be quick. Yes, it is ackward but I dont think they were concerned about it. The antenna is to boost the signal so the pit crew and the driver can communicate. They have radio head sets. This year vehicle does have a data log however it can only be pulled once its in the pit and connected to a computer. The current year Challenge vehicles I believe can send information on the fly.

The company I work for I guess can be considered as one of those "special transport" company. I have also personally hauled an Enzo before. Carrera GT's Murcielago's, name a car.....

How about some pics of your trailer. Can't be your ordinary enclosed car trailer like every one you see on the highway.

1970 AMC Gremlin GT. (Hey, that car would probably be worth as much as that Ferrari to the right collector nowadays...)

I agree Ridiculous, I'd rather have my truck. You can't tow, haul anything in the back of a Ferrari, hook a trailer to it, drop the tailgate and watch tractor pulls, go mudding,....sure you can pick up chicks in a Ferrari, but I'm married and plan to be for a looooonnnnnnggggg time and you can't put kids in the back of a Ferrari. So it is very nice, way faster than my truck will ever be, I'll take my clanging/rattling loud pipe Cummins.
