Turning Radius, Embarrassed a Ford
I've never heard/read anything about the turning radius on our trucks. I don't know about the rest of you but these trucks you can turn on a dime, at least I can with mine. So anyway here's my story. I'm sittin at a light today to make a turn in my favorite fast food stop (Jack-in-the-Box) and there was a 4x4 ford, extra cab, shortbed behind me. Well I decided to make a U-turn. I made my U-turn, parked the truck, meanwhile I'm watching this ford. He drives up the street turns into the same place I'm at, and then pulls back out onto the street. He just looked at me and shook his head, I just smiled at him.

I park in the back where no else is until I come out and then its like a carshow around my truck My truck can turn purty sharp also. If I need help, I got suregrip, poormans rear steering!

I can park my dually 4 door long bed a whole lot better than I can the wife's Town Car. She just looks at me in amazement trying to park her car - - I cannot park it. Then she looks in more amazement when I whip the truck into a parallel spot in the first shot. Very nimble for such a big truck.

After having driven a Freightliner MT45 step van, I feel like pretty much everything sucks at turning. They say that the Freightliner's can turn the wheels 50 degrees. No clue what ours do.
