Nice thing is the apparently turn-key setup he's using.
I can't wait to see how much that set-up costs.......heck Father's day is tomorrow.....and my Visa just got paid off........Hmmmmmmmmm.
I wonder if there's going to be a shortage of Red Devil Lye at Home Depot this weekend.
I'm setting the VCR for tomorrow's show.

Site is EXTREMELY busy............System he was using is $4,000 and will make 40 gallons of B.D. a day.
But they have free shipping for a limited time.

I wonder if the local govt would let have a permit to open a BD retail station in the garage?
Yeah at 4 grand, you'd have to make a lot of it to ever reach a pay-back level.

Stacey said it cost around $.70 per gallon to make bio with the kit... I bought diesel for $2.15 per gallon on Thursday... with an initial cost of $4000 for the kit and the $1.45 differential in cost per gallon, I'd have to make around 2760 gallons of bio to recover the initial $4000.

At my present ~30 gallons a week, that would take about 2 years to pay off.
HOWEVER that's assuming that diesel fuel stays at its present cost per gallon.
It traditionally spikes hard in late September and stays at that level until Spring.
It still might be worthwhile in the long run as long as fast food places don't start charging for the raw materials, and the govt doesn't find a way to hose us for a fuel tax.

The wording of using this grease is to call it a fuel additive-a lude- and not a fuel. This is the simplest way to work around a road tax.
I think it would be smart to get some guy- and gals- together to make your own kit. Share the investment, brig you own grease. A co-op!!
