truck stolen, need advice for anotherone
Hey gang, sorry I havn't been around much. I have been going to school full time and working overtime this year which leaves me no free time. Anyway, my truck was stolen the other day and I am going to need a replacemens ASAP, in order to work. Besides ebay, autotrader.com and the DTR classifieds does anyone know of other good resources in finding a new used truck? I am looking for a 1st gen. ext cab 4x4.

You can also check http://www.traderonline.com and go to the Truck Trader link. Personally, I had the best luck with autotrader.com. They had the most listings of all the websites I found.
Sorry about your truck. Hope they catch the $%#!$#! that took it....

It may take two or three weeks for the stolen one to turn up. I have had my '93 stolen twice. both times it turned up within three weeks. no real damage, they only wanted the winch.
hope you get yours sorted out sooner than later......

I like this one. I hope posting it here doesn't make it sell faster.

Sorry to hear about your truck being stolen.
I also like autotrader best but have also had good luck with:
cars.com -- ads mostly from newspapers. Great deals sometimes.
Thrifty Nickel Ads -- also some great deals but you have to move fast.
I use the advanced search on both.
Good luck.

Kansas City PD found my truck abandoned last week. It was not a total loss, but they did plenty of damage. Some of the stuff they did to it was down right wierd. The strangest thing I noticed was they had ruined my passenger front tire, put the spare on, then put the bad tire back under the truck . Anyway Raytown Dodge has repaired all body damge, repainted half the truck, and scratched their heads at the excessive smoke at heavy throttle . Pending some seamingly extinct parts, It should be back on the road by the end of this week. I would like to sell it while it's in show room condition, but I am not sure if I could get the $12.5K payoff out of it.

www.autohopper.com has a few trucks. Any publication in Texas is going to have trucks but will have to travel and I dont know if you feel like making that trip. Good luck!
