I am looking for some reputable transporters to take my CTD from N.Y. to Ca. I've done some research on the net. I've found anywhere from $1150 - $1700 open carrier, door to door.

Also, will I have trouble registering the truck which was bought new in N.Y. to Ca. I realize that Ca. emissions are tighter...will this have any bearing on me?

I bought my truck in Missouri last January. I had no problems at all, other than it was expensive to register it here. No emissions or inspection here in the desert.

You will be good as long as it has 7500 miles or more on the odo. Same with your other vehicles.

If they don't......find a way to get the miles to show.
