Top,
The kid that made it is a wrench turning cannon cocker. Not even a real redleg (gosh, I hope this doesn't give another such animal in here any kind of hormonal fluctuations).
The kid is a good shooter, needs a bit of field craft experience, and three wraps of duct tape around his mouth.
He can do at 600 with a 5.56 gas gun the same as a M21 at 800. Good potential. Gonna introduce him to the Barrett M82 next month ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D See if he really want to be one.

My brotherinlaw made himself one with the help of his friend Jim. (who is in the 101st, God Bless)

They came over the the house to test it out last year and Jason crouched down at the edge of the woods and yelled for my dog. ??? Chevy (dog's name) came running over looking for him about the time he was starting to snif around Jason jumped up and scared the crap out of him. Chevy took off running up to the porch barking as he ran. (brave dog)

Poor dog has never been the same since, he really doesn't trust my brotherinlaw anymore.

DB

Those things sure are time consuming to make a good one. When I was with the grunts, we use to come up with that stuff and go sit on high ground in our O.P. Wreaked havoc on'em in Hohenfels. You wouldn't think armor would be so scared of a dismount. Whe we were with armor, we use to draape the camo net and som duffel bags around the turret so they couldn't tell we were F.O.'s I think at Hohenfels they gave the OPFOR a day pass if they got an F.O. N.T.C. was a 3 day I believe. If they were smart, our antennas still gave us away.
