I think I'm just going to go back to farming and getting things stuck.... I'd rather deal with my father threatening to kill me than some paki with a towel on his head ACTUALLY trying to kill me hahahaha.

Just read this...glad you are ok. This winter has been a very intense one for ice, fog and wind...all over where I run too.
Great call on your ditching.
I have seen a few too many wrecks this winter...when that ice hits...wow!

Try a pillow on your sore side...worked for me...for a few hours.

Take Care.

I know a fellow in Calgary that does class one training...Without getting into detail on this forum....You would be shocked how you could get a class one licence,if you have the money...You could buy a class one without any training in driving a semi,, if you have the right connections...And guess who could get away with this???.......Like indicated...

Speedy recovery JKM....

A friend of mine does Class 1 training here. If the person he is training cannot understand his request after the 2nd time, he will not train them. When I was waiting to take a driven test I watched one of the clerks at the place I was at come out from behind the counter, grab the cell phone away from a person and failed them. This person from another land was texting back and forth for his answers to a written exam. Dave, I know what you are saying and 'who/what' you are referring to.

Anyone who gives out a licence to someone who cannot safely operate any vehicle, needs put in jail....

When I was out to the impound yard, there was 5 transX vehicles there that had caused accidents, the tow operator said all 5 were operated by immigrants.

The OPP officer I spoke to this afternoon indicated that the speed of the immigrant driver was the main focus right now. The immigrant also refused to speak to anyone but a lawyer at the hospital, he refused to give a statement to police or the insurance company.

I saw the same thing! Last year I had to take the eye exam. While waiting in line I saw the clerk dash around, ****** the phone out of this gals hand who was taking the written exam. The clerk showed the phone to anybody who would look. The gal she took it from was shouting about her rights getting violated but I never saw anything about it in the newspaper.
Our DMV people are mean, ill tempered, scary people.

Glad your still with us looks like you made the right move. After 37 years of driving truck the last 30 haulin fuel I decided I wasn't going to be out there for another winter. I retired the end of september & no regrets. Just found out today a tanker driver I know crashed on thursday, hit a tree & he didn't make it. He was 71 & drove for Pilot truck stops. He may have had a heart attack. Although we did get some more snow on thursday.

Take care JKM

Now you know where the TSA gets their folks. They do the same thing, see something illegal, reach in, grab it and yank it out in front of the whole airport.
