I thought you were in Utah, Phox. Did you move to Chicago or St. Louis or something?

Tree Farmer has some very interesting and VALID points here.

Live and let live comes to mind, and no I do not intend to cover criminals with that statement.
Ever notice when Gay marriage comes up, some people go off on a wild speech about:
"Well, then why don't we just legalize rape, incest and pedophilia"??

What a joke, give me a break, we should worry more about OURSELVES, and less about what our neighbor is doing in his bedroom. I only know maybe two or three Homosexuals total, none of which are ANY possible threat to me, my family, my livelihood or my foreseeable future. I’m more concerned with local, state and federal politicians, some of which present a very real threat to me and my family’s future.
Crobtex??? A chapter president? Great representation, way to personally attack Treefarmer, as to make him feel like his opinion is somehow worth less than yours?? I tend to think by what I've read that his head is quite "clear" contrary to your suggestion in a prior post.

I can't wait to hear the outcome............

And that segment would be convicted criminals, and only convicted criminals. Jesus, now I know why I usually avoid political threads on this board.

Any way, back to my new truck.

I didn't think about it until it was brought up, but I guess treefarmers comments could be considered personal attacks. Mine was not an attack...just an observation.

Since when does being Chapter President keep me from having an opinion? If you are so bent on peoples rights, what about mine? I don't mind if people don't like my opinion, but don't be a hipocrite about it.

The proposed constitutional amendment has nothing to do with regulating the behavior of these individuals in the privacy of their own home - SCOTUS has already ruled on that. Rather, it seeks to determine whether or not society will legitimize and provide legal recognition of their relationship.
