testing a person for stroke
Something I learned today that everyone should know.
If someone you know is having a severe headache or is not responding as you think they should-
1. Ask them to smile. The smile should be the same on both sides of the face.
2. Ask them to raise both arms over their head. They should have no difficulty getting both arms up.
3. Ask them to state a complete sentence. They should have no difficulty doing this.
If there is difficulty doing any of the above, that person probably is having a stroke. Call for medical assistance immediatly!!!

It was emailed to me by a neice. I thought it was very good advice and decided to pass it on.
Strokes have not been prevelant in my family but I lost a life long friend to stroke at the age of 46.
