OK, breakroom open for the night shift. You know the rules:
NO SHIRT
NO SHOES
NO CLOTHES
SO WHAT WE WILL SERVE YOU ANYWAY.
Warning, do not annoy the dragon sleeping in the corner. To him you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
Fresh hot coffee, strong and thick. ph00 with extra almond flavor. tea water is boiling. Iced tea in the 55 gallon drum. And iced water in the cooler.
Fresh hot cinimon rolls comming up you gotta open the door to them.

Enjoy.
Like to thank Chaikwa, and JWBM for help with the title of who I am.
Welcome back to the HAT, and to Chaikwa that was missing for a few days.

Heck, that was easy. Back to bed. Wonder what that link used to point to. Some kind of food probably. Dang, now I'm hungry.
You better not show up nekkid! Even as tough as Shorts is I wouldn't blame her if she ran away screaming and we need her class.

What's so funny about that, you're certainly old enough.

Evening folks. There's been allot going on in my world lately so I've been mia for a bit. Keep us covered for a while longer if you would. We don't have a decision on Hunter yet and I hurt my eye. Life is a challenge at times.

Nah, he doesn't need it. Heated cabs are the BEST! I love mine on the JCB. Just because I can, sometimes when I'm working with my friend Mark, who has an open station Ford, I'll take off my coat, shirt and shoes, then wipe my forehead as if I'm sweating. He hates me!

You're in better shape for it tho!

Evening all.

Got the old Ford 4000 tractor running this afternoon. Sounds good but has a coupla issues. Engine labors like heck when you put it in park, and the 'inching pedal' doesn't do anything. It's supposed to act like a clutch I guess but it is shutting off hydraulic flow instead of disengaging a clutch disc. This tranny is like an automatic that you shift manually. All the gears are there, so that's a good thing.

Yea, the day he got it, he drove it over here to show it off, (which I understand completely btw,)....... he got done showing me all the features, and I looked him square in the eye and said......" I hate you"....
but I meant it in a good way like that, ya know? .. HAHAHA

It's flippin cold out!
I woke up to a funky smell this morning. My dog got gas. I think he does again tonight. Don't know what the heck he got into.
Turned on a fan and opened a window this morning.
Heard something sizzling a few minutes ago. That's when I remembered I had a pound of burger on the stove browning for some sloppy joes. Oops.
Tossed some cottonwood in the furnace today. Dang stuff burnt down to charcoal and even with the damper opened clear up won't burn the coals out and warm the place up.
Got a couple nice bug pieces of elm to jam in if it does finally burn down some.

The secret to good refried beans is after cooking them normally and mashing them you recook them by frying them in lard.
You gotta use lard or bacon grease or its not the same.
Its like sugar free/fat free ice cream compared to the good stuff.

That's too bad. I remember when our dog started having problems it seemed like he was so embarrassed he wanted to hide.
Glad you guys managed to take it in stride. Sounds like Chester did too. Hmmm, Scott and I were talking about refried beans and I was getting hungry.
Now I have lost my appetite.

I wish people would scream and run away. Its tough when even my doctor breaks down laughing when I disrobe.
P.S. We do miss you when you are gone. Good thoughts at ya.

Gorgeous day today. 81 degrees, lower humidity after a foggy morning. That is more like it.

Just got done putting the forks and stuff back on the 86 Honda Reflex.
Should be riding it by next week unless it snows than it will be going in circles in the basement.
Wife better not leave her purse on the floor again.
We tend to start going a little nuts around this time of the year.

Yep, I get that all the time. Sometimes when I see that Mark has frozen snot all over his beard and 'stache despite a full face mask/hat thing, I'll get out and just start looking under and around the JCB. Without fail, Mark will always ask 'what's the matter'? I'll tell him, "Something's wrong. I can only get the cab up to 86 degrees and it's getting a little chilly in there!" That's when I get the 'I hate you' response.

Cooking fires are the number one cause of home fires. Stand by your pan!

I like cold beans between 2 pieces of bread. I don't think I'd ever mash and recook them. That just sounds too disgusting!

Morning all.

It is Wednesday, February 5th.

1783 - Sweden recognized the independence of the United States.

1881 - Phoenix, AZ, was incorporated.

1917 - Mexico's constitution was adopted.

1917 - The U.S. Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1917 (Asiatic Barred Zone Act) with an overwhelming majority. The action overrode President Woodrow Wilson's December 14, 1916 veto.

1924 - The BBC time signals, or "pips", from Greenwich Observatory were heard for the first time. They are broadcast every hour.

1952 - In New York City, four signs were installed at 44th Street and Broadway in Times Square that told pedestrians "don't walk."

1987 - The Dow Jones industrial average closed above the 2,200-point for the first time. The market closed at 2201.49.

1988 - A pair of indictments were unsealed in Florida, accusing Panama's military leader, Gen. Manuel Antonio Noriega, of bribery and drug trafficking.

1994 - White separatist Byron De La Beckwith was convicted in Jackson, MS, of the 1963 murder of civil rights leader Medgar Evers.

1997 - Switzerland's "Big Three" banks announced they would create a $71 million fund for Holocaust victims and their families.

2003 - U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell presented evidence to the U.N. concerning Iraq's material breach of U.N. Resolution 1441.

Today's thought:
One day, we will all live in the future.

TOB&F today please.

Good morning all y'all, just a quick check-in to say that I have changed my mind. Y'all can have our Canadian winter back. It is -20F there this morning and when you factor in the wind chill it feels like -34F. Worst of all, this weather pattern is going to continue for at least another 5 or 6 days. I think I need to buy warmer mittens

Hve a good day everyone and play safe. If you live in one of the cold places in North America (Mexstan, Short and 5erBob mind your own business), do not succumb to the temptation to try and lick the light post outside. Your tongue REALLY WILL stick to it!!
