Re:Stupid things yall have done
Married my first wife, had direct deposit while I was traveling overseas, allowed my brother to live with us while he was getting divorced, didn't know about the 4 savings accounts the witch had, but best of all was filling a 20 oz. coke bottle with 2 0z. of liquid nitrogen, dropped it into a 3" pipe, inserted a 3" solid teflon ball....BOOM what goes up, must come down, straight thru the NEW $50,000.00 roof on the shop that I was just made manager of, and boss was due in from up north in the morning, that's the first thing he noticed. I don't think he beleived that we feed the birds real good down here . Don't forget to screw the cap on TIGHT, try it and just lay it on the ground, but get the CRAP away, summer time it goes off fast, winter is slower, gives you more time to get back in the shop and "act" busy

Would you believe one year ago I (at 46 yrs old) stuck my left thumb in a table saw? Trip to ER and 9 stiches later they sent me home. When the nurse on duty asked what I did the only reply I gave was "somthin' stupid".

This is not something I did but I saw a picture a few weeks ago of a guy that drilled half his nose off. It appears that he had an itch inside his nose that he could not reach, So stuck a drill bit up his nose - that was chucked into an electric drill. Somehow the drill started and half his nose disappeared. Dah!

For giggles my squad and I loaded every mine, tank round and explosive we could find in one pit and primed it with C4. There was quite the lil bang,,,MP's nearby thought the war had started back up.

Re:Stupid things yall have done
Forgot one:
Swinging from a rope over the Mountain Fork river in Oklahoma, I decided to grasp the rope about 5 feet from the end. Swung out over the river and let go. What I didn't notice was that the bitter end of the rope had wrapped itself around my ankle before I let go. Fell about 5 feet when the rope around my ankle cause me to get turned upside down in the air and almost ripped my leg out of the socket when my weight pulled the rope taught. I bounced up and down while upside down a few times over the river (like I was on a bungee cord). Came to a rest and was suspended over the river upside down by my ankle. Mercifully, the rope broke and I splashed into the river. Seemed like it took forever for the rope to break. Got a nice little rope burn scar on my ankle from that one.

Building a bridge in Washington one time the crew and I made a cannon for golf *****. Took 4' of two inch pipe welded a plate on the end with a hole in it. Took the foam from the epoxy rebar and used it for packing. You would light the cutting torch snub it, fill the hole, re-light the torch. It was loud with ear plugs in and you could feel the precussion.Man I swear you could shoot a golf ball 1/2 a mile or better. We never could find one to see.

Stan, don't you know you are supposed to unplug your drill or pull the batteries from it before you stick the 3/4" Forstner bit up there?
