I was thinking about this stinkin topic all afternoon and was wondering if I was supposed to laugh or be mad about it. I though it seemed kind of strange.. Oh well, I guess 4 days off has made my mental capacity dwindle.....

Sites like that are necessary due to the usual headlines.....
insert name/age group/ethnicity here
Killed/Injured by Assault Weapon
<sarcasm mode on>
These sites help the general public keep an eye on those evil assault weapons that come to life and continue to attack helpless citizens.
<Sarcasm mode off>
Until the lawmakers deal with the source of the problem
(The predators that they keep releasing back into the population)
instead of blaming an inanimate object, we will continue to see these headlines.

We need to get rid of the people who try to make these laws.
They are dangerous to the freedoms we enjoy.
I would love to see them go after the alcohol loby because of a drunk driver.

I find it interesting that they wanted to sue the manufacturers of guns used in a crime, but has anyone ever thought of suing say GM since they crooks used a Chevy Caprice as a getaway vehicle?? How about Shell Oil for the gasoline in their tank?? Levi'sfor the jeans they were wearing?? Land's End for those heineous Ski Masks?? Afterall, These were used to comit a violent CRIME!
I'm Done.....

Yeah- hang the sucker that pulled the trigger! Prove to anyone that a gun kills without human contact.

I heard that "gun control" is no longer an issue. The Kennedy Kerry clan has renamed it to "gun safety" then redefined it , according to a NRA magazine I read. They also think the ammo is what makes it "unsafe" so they want to ban the ammo in the name on gun safety. There was a lot more info in the mag. If you want more info contact the NRA.

Ban the ammo and I still have an "unsafe" steel club with a bayonet lug but hey, who said that logic had to enter into the discussion at all.

The SKS/AK clones get attention because they're misued, a lot. By caliber they're responsible for more law enforcement deaths than any other, per the latest FBI statistics, and to top it off they're also number one for penetration of vests. I seem to recall that steel core ammo is fairly common.

table 32 and table 35
It looks like I overlooked the 9mm, it seems to be responsible for the most deaths while the SKS/AK is second, but the SKS/AK still seems to be more responsible for penetration of body armor.

There already have been several spin-offs to capitalize on the media attention. Sad if you ask me.
