Happy late birthday Justin!
Thanks for making the coffee Bob.
No, I took a sick day. Feel awful - coming out both ends. Just need rest but every time I lay down the stoopid phone rings. I don't answer it but it still keeps me awake. Just the thought of coffee makes me wanna

Same problem here. Fixing to make a roller out of an old waterheater. Weld a bunch of spikes on it. Figure I will airate the yard, and MAYBE stick a few of the little buggers....

wow, first time chawktaw complains about the phone calls AND IT WASN'T ME!!!!!!! yay!
mechanic day today cause it was above 20 degrees:
well, looked at diesel Mitsubishi 1.1 l motor and cylinders are scored like I posted a few months ago but hubby wouldn't listen....
15 y.o. cub cadet so more things could need replacing (front axle seals, bearings) we have about eight attachments so we can adapt stuff but have to make a decision on what to repair or buy....dealer said about 3500 to repair; kit alone is 1500 and does not include sleeves and needs a press.
ebay has a motor, but what are you really getting into?
son's jeep got a belly inspection, oh my. nickel and dime to death.
I am so ready to go on "The Price is Right".....

JWBM- dry sleeves are easy to replace. Put the old ones in the freezer over night. Put a heater under the block. Should drop right in with minimal persuasion.
Got a welder? The old ones will come out easy, too. Lay a bead or two the length of the bore inside the sleeve. Let it cool. When it contracts it will pull the sleeve inward and loosen it up.

Buy a skidder, a little 440 Deere or C5 Clark. They're somewhat easy to find, relatively inexpensive and parts are still available for them. All you do with the tractor is logging stuff anyway, makes sense to get a machine that's more suited to what you're doing with it.
Still feeling like . Gonna use another sick day, so someone else can make the coffee and clean the breakroom.

went to check the maple sap buckets and 'skiied' down the ravine, frozen ground with thin snow melt.....not graceful.
THANKS huggies Scotts!! big hugs to both cuddle bears...
called the state forestor, I recalled a program that pays per acre for stuff you need to do anyways, (thinning, stump toxins, trail fixes), you go through a para grant process. no problems there... doing the mechanical easy stuff, tear down.
faxing chicken soup for you janitor. checking out 5, 10, 12 and 15 ton gravity wagons at auction.

Morning gang - - uhhhh, well, afternoon. Sure quiet in here today. ChackiWacki is sick and no one made coffee. BOOOO!!!! I was up before sunup, out and washed my truck (absolutely filthy), then worked in the yard starting spring trimming, pulling several dead plants with fungus, killing and pulling weeds, sweep leaves, fertilizing plants and then will hit all with purdy red mulch - - red goes with our roof tile. Tired - - blonde finally came out, took my arm so gently, pushed me into the house, sat me down at table after making me wash up and fed me - - looked at clock - - 1:30 - walked out of the house at 6:30am. Had not been back in. Duh. No wonder I was hungry and tired. Relaxing this afternoon to catch up with paperwork.
OK, coffee, ph00, hot water for Claude all ready and on the counter. Grabbing mine and out of here.......................
LaterGator,
Bob
ps: Hey big boy - - just put in the overnight stop for Regina about 10 minutes ago in MS Streets and Trips. Looks like about 5th or so of June.
