Either towards savings or paying down CC.
And thanks to the poster to mentioned going out and blowing it on a fun gun! thats exactly what I DIDNT need to hear! Maybe they shouldnt direct deposit it...
Got my income tax deposited today, and according to the IRS chart I should be getting my stimulus in no later than this time next week!

I have no idea what our "stimulus" money will go towards. I don't really have any debt I feel the need to eliminate (wife's car vehicle loan is super low interest, and it's my only debt).
It's probably going to go towards a house downpayment when/if I get a job. Part of outfitting a new house is all the new appliances: washer, dryer, 80gal air compressor, new TIG machine, bandsaw, tube bender, etc.

You could always go to Hawaii instead, that is still part of the American Economy!

Modern heat and cooling.
Central heat and air for my 1957 crackerbox house. We've been struggling with a wall heater and no air for 23 years. Al Gore's summers are bothering us in our old age. Now I just have to cough up the $9,000 extra buckeroos to cover it. We're going with the super efficient, variable speed units. Figured we should pay a little extra for better equipment.

Mine's going to fuel so we can drag the fire trailer to the 40 some-odd events that're on the calendar this summer.
