I'm getting the same type of messages and unfortunately I can't have them turn my text off because I use it for the fire co. dispatches. I called Nextel once before and then they stopped for about 3 months and they just started again last week. Time to call good ol customer (non) service AGAIN.

here's the reply from sprint on how to block test messages:
1. Log on to http://www.sprint.com using username and password.
2. Click on the ' Online Tools' hyperlink,
3. Click Text Messaging.
4. Click Settings and Preferences.
5 Enter a 10-19 digit phone number, an email address, or an entire
domain (e.g., pammer.com):
6. Click on ?Add to Block List?.
A maximum of 50 entries are allowed.
