I can't believe this went as far as it did. The woman in the story who pressed charges has been drinking too much of the "PC" Kool Aid.
I feel sorry of the old man who made the comment.

It is no wonder everyone runs around like a bunch of hermits. You cant even initiate a conversation with someone without getting thrown in the slammer for a few days.
Shame on the judge that allowed it to go that far too. The lady was probably thinking it was going to be "pay day" from the poor mans comment.

Pretty sure its not going to get better. I avoid talking to kids I dont know just for that reason. Dont want to wind up being the pervert who got arrested for offering candy to kids.
