someone needs a miracle...
So I just finished pulling this hill with the truck and camper, thinking how great it was performing. The wife wanted some snacks for the kids out of the camper, I pulled over at the rest stop at the top of the hill, while the wife was in the camper this guy wandered over and asked if my truck had two temperature gages as his truck was over heating.
Turns out he had bought an '85 ford diesel three weeks previous and was moving to Alaska from Oregon. The bed of the truck was packed and he was pulling a single axel trailer (approx 10 ft) with all his worldly things...
I met him at a rest stop just outside Hope B.C. (Lake of the woods) at the start of the Fraser canyon. I'm guessing this was the first real pull he had made from oregon. The sad thing is That hill was only a teaser for the things to come... I stopped and looked at his truck for a moment and told him the best thing for him to do is baby his truck all the way north. I shook his hand and wished him the best...
