So Long Truck......
Well here we go, after earning my 3rd speeding ticket my parents ( Divorced btw) are joining together to make me get a car.. ( Worthless...) I dont want a car and I like my truck just fine. The problem is they think that it is making me wreckless on and on and on. Either way..My mom wants to see me in a Honda, and my Dad, having owned all BMW cars when he didnt have a truck wants me to have a Beamer...so my choice...obviously BMW...but still I want to keep my truck but the AZ insurance is a little kinder to 20+ over speeding tickets when in something that doesnt have " Turbo" in the name...so all in all...so long truck! Just thought I would post my sad sorrow of lament! Lol. Anyways I'll still be sticking around here lol!....Just to be jealous of everyones trucks! Lol. Oh well better fuel mileage I guess?

THANK YOU! AT least you get where I'm coming from. but my mom is committed to the idea that the Truck speeds more because it is louder. And on a lighter note, IM a still sticking with an Inline six lol!

I'll trade you trucks straight up. These stock first gens are so slow I don't think I could get a speeding ticket if I tried. (Although 55 in a 25 while racing a 4 cylinder Toyota truck would have been a ticket, since the 4 cylinder Toyota was about 60 feet in front of me I got off. Sometimes it's almost better to get the ticket... )
Oh, and if you want to stick with an inline six, I should remind you that AMC made the best gasoline inline sixes of all time.
But with the BMW, you can always tell the cops that your accelerator was stuck and get off with a warning.

I mean 20 over not 20+ tickets. I have had three tickets...
Edit: One was for 15 over 70 in a 55
Next was 60 in a 45
This was 61 in 40

Come on man, I can put a few HONDA badges on my Ram.
Doncha know that the old, unsuccessful Honda Ridgelines made in the early 1980's were designed by the same guy who designed the first gen Rams? Of course, since the went so slow, the trucks were only made for a few years since nobody bought them.
Or you can explain to your mom how a H-23 in a Honda could be a 12 second car for the money that you'll get for your truck. Even the crappy Honda's have performance potential.

If I had 3 tickets by the time I was 17, there is no way, no how my parents would let me drive anything (that they were paying the insurance, gas and maintenance bills on). My hide would have been tacked to the old man's wall or used to cover his favorite recliner.
