Funny you mention them. You think anyone will remember him in 100 years. I'd bet the house that NOT
I'm not putting him in THEIR category, by any means, just using them to make a point.

It's just the automotive industry's answer to the "Dell Dude"... Too bad, I was going to buy a Dell, but I waz afraid it could lead to harder computers....

....actually Snoop contacted DC before the 300C was about to be released and Deiter hooked him up. It was at SEMA show and has been in a couple of TV shows featuring stars and thier cars.

I think it's a great commercial! I couldn't recall even one hitzill the Snoop plays fo shizzle but the commercial is an attention grabber. DC knows what they're doing.

I saw the piece last night for the Nth time, still can figure out what he is saying.
I'm just not with the times I guess. Can anyone translate?
But I did figure out that they used Tiger as a stand in for the tee shot.

I hope the next one is Snoop running over Iacoca and his grandkid with a new CTD dually!
"If you can find a better car, buy it." Are you kidding me???? Almost any car is better than a Chrysler. In fact I wouldn't even own a Dodge if it didn't have a Cummins in it!

Geico: You are just afraid of what you don't understand...i wouldn't believe all what the media claims he's done. Now if you were talking "Tupac" the rapper, then u can bring some charges out..Snoop is a puppy dogg.I sense some racist feelings here...that's sad..he might actually be a nice fellow

As for Snoop's habbits...well as much as rap and everything associated with it, you can't really single him out because of a tainted past. Look at just about any big star, music or TV. Who hasn't been into drugs, crime, or some other vice? Elvis went against most moral ethics, even by today's standards. Many TV stars have spent more time in rehab than I've spent on vacation my whole life. Politicians lie, steal, and cheat. I don't think a great role model exists any more.
Now...is it right that they use him in a commercial? Well they must think it will help sales somehow. Who knows how though. I just think its really bad taste.

That looked like he was trying to do the Robot.
Until the last few years, I think golf was thought of as the "your father's Oldsmobile" of sports by the younger generations.
