"SMOKIN" D-Max
Yesterday, I was tooln down the highway north of Dallas in a construction zone when a D-Max passed me. I was running about 60 and he was at about 65. I noticed when he passed that he was blowing a little smoke. When he got about a 1/4 mile ahead of me, I guess he tried to speed up and he REALLY blew some smoke. He done this two or three times and it got so bad that the cars behind him had to hit their brakes because they couldn't see the road! Thick white smoke when he got on it and black when he let up. He wasn't speeding up much when he got on it, so I'm sure it was a problem and not bombed. When I took my exit, I could still see him and the black smoke.
Sure made me proud of my Cummins!

You never know when it will be you with the problems though.. I had several Fords and Chevys looking at me today while my truck had run out of fuel with the guage still showing over 1/8th tank! I'm the first person to say something bad about someone who runs out of fuel and today I did it for the first time in my life.. You can bet that it won't happen again! I am glad that it wasn't a lift pump though because we are getting about 5"-8" of snow tonight.....
