Slow Site with Reason
Just noticed that my computer was running really slow while on DTR. So checked another website and it worked great, then tried DTR again and slow slow slow. Then checked the user online counter and realized, that was the problem, well good problem that is.

It's a great problem to have, but the site isn't slow for me at all. The pages come up instantly. I just tried it from a couple of different networks to make sure.
Now that's not to say that it wasn't slow when you tried it. Every once in a while when someone does an intensive search, it'll be slow for a couple minutes and then speed back up. Bandwidth usage is only around 20% right now. About 2mbps.

Always seems to be that way when it gets cold. Slows down in the summer and picks up heavily in the winter. Might need to add another machine sooner than I thought.

It's been a little slow for me tonight, too. Ain't got nothin to do with the weather and the electronics, Jack, no one wants to be outside when its cold as crap outside...

Oh stop with the whinging already. Slow servers are a good problem to have when you are in this racket.
And it isn't even cold yet, best we've done thus far is -22C. When it gets cold, I'll let you guys know.

Thanks folks. It's appreciated. Between DTR and the other two sites that run on this server, it stays busy. However, DTR is 99% of the traffic for sure..
Gun-Forums.com is starting to pickup
cleancarforum.com is DEAD and is likely going to make way for a Ford or Chevy forum. I haven't decided which.
