While it might be a pleasant 75 with gentle breezes in Canada, it's a blistering 103 with a heat index of 109 here on the plains of Kansas, US of A!
Got my pastures cut and baled , 113 4x5 big rounds off of 32 acres, can't complain about that! Only bad part is that now I get to fire up thst old air-cooled tractor with no sun shade and get them in the barn before it rains tonight.
Someone please tell me why I think I enjoy this?

Hi

Had a wasp sting me one time,so I knew what it felt like. Irritating for sure.

Pulled the deck boards off to find a football sized nest. Thought about stomping it and getting waspnet stockings for my leggs.
Torched it instead. No more wasps
...

Or deck...

Whoops.

Hey perfecto, thanks!

Hit a few heavy rain storms (the kind you drive by watching the painted line on the shoulder), glad I got that multifunction switch sorted out a few years ago

Got 8 big ocean caught sockeye (red) salmon late last night.
Three of them are males so its fresh fried salmon and salmon uh--stuff tonight.
People absolutely love the fried salmon "stuff" and clamor for more until I tell em what it is.

I had no time for that. My neighbor was there assisting with fire control. Only a few boards burned but it was nasty looking. LoL

good to see a light breakroom, means everyone is doing some stuff!

well, not like salmon stuff but .....(Bark, I am now on my last smoked halibut with alder)mmmmmmm Adirondack sharp white cheddar too.
don't feel like wine, leave that for the only Canadien left with a deck....

taking peppers, 'maters, lettuce, onions, broccoli out of the raised bed (drainpipe) planter. not a celery farmer, but they look like they need a little more height.

hottest day yesterday, so naturally took scrap to junkyard and sorted it.

nice evening swim in the pond. good Italian meal. now I have to top it tonight

Chris, you LOVE the physical proof of your work and the satisfaction of completion!!! as opposed to fruitless, unseen gov work....lol

Japanese call it soft roe, we call it milt. Japanese gal married to a guy I worked with showed me several ways of cooking it.
They pay as much for it as Tuna and travel channel recently showed that the Sicilians use it in some of their pasta recipes .
You may have had some in Japan and didn't know it.

With the dead freezers incident I had forgoten how much I missed fresh or fresh frozen ocean caught Salmon.
Rolled in cornmeal, flash fried, salt and pepper--sometimes the simple things are the best.

Wire wheel works best for a mottled summer bbq look for MY LEGGS?
Bark remember to yell LOOK AT MY LEGGS several times while jumping up n down on the bed. Its adds to the shock and awe your wife will display.

Use a raspy voice.
