I think cats are great - especially Robert's cats!
... but, Cat-Haters are everywhere.
A trip through the washing machine's Spin Cycle is faster & more effective that Cat Nip.
Mom doesn't notice the difference between an old pair of sneakers or the cat in the tumble dryer until she cleans the lint filter.
A shock collar for cats sounds like WAY too much fun!

Our barn cats have a habit of walking up to the hot wire when I lay it down and swatting at it if it moves. Combining a 50 mile charger and a cat is a great combination for cheap entertainment. What gets me is they've done it more than once.

i have pondered that question myself.
i have a Seal Point purebred Siamese for a house cat. i love my cat and would not do any thing to hurt him.
he knows what he can and cannot do and he doesnt have any claws. the only thing we have to watch is given the right opportunity, he will run out the door.
all the house cats we have had, we got when they were kittens. we trained them and have never had a problem.

My folks have always had at least one cat. Right now they've got a very entertaining black male that is just a character and additionally a hell of a hunter. And they some how ended up with a 90 pound cat that resembles a dog that barks like a dog but then purrs when you pet it. Hmmm confused animal. Oh yeah the two romp around the house to causing an awful commotion that very entertaining to watch.

We have a cat. She's sitting in the chair next to me sleeping. You read right, sitting up sleeping. An idiot, but a lovable idiot. Greets me at the door whenever I come home.
The squirt bottle works great. You could also try laying some tinfoil on the counters. Cats hate walking on it.
