Setting up Subwoofers

Setting up Subwoofers
I have two subwoofers and one two-channel amp. I bought a wiring kit that came with one dual ended(one red and one white) connection wire that seemingly plugs into the Line-In and/or Line-Out holes(total of 4 holes on Amp). One set of the plugs on the amp, is marked L and the other R. Do I need two of these cables to run both subs off my deck or can I manage with just the one dual pronged wire? Basically, I have 4 holes and can only use two of the 4. The other two need to go in the back to the deck.
Hope that made sense,
Mike

I've had a minute to rethink my instructions. I've got a Terminal that goes straight to the positive terminal on the battery, one to ground and one to tell the deck to turn the amp on/off. I've then got 4 others(2 positive, 2 negative) which I assume are for direct contact with the subs. But then I've also got a plug in that is called 'speaker line input' and says it can be connected to a wire between the speaker and the deck. I'm assuming I dont need that wire/connector for my purpose because I'm just installing subs but I could be wrong. From there I've still got these 2 sets of 2 connectors that I spoke of earlier. The line-in(one red and one white) goes to the deck with a ground wire as an option but that then leaves the line-out connections. What are the Line-out connections for?
