Saying goodbye for a while

Saying goodbye for a while
HI all

I know I don't participate a whole lot on this board and it's usually to get help. Don't think I've ever given much good advice But I have felt at home here. I really appreciate everything I've gotten from this board. I'm going to have to say bye for now. Hopefully it will just be a real short time. We are moving and I'm not real sure how I'm going to connect to the internet for now. Once we get settled out there we'll probably be back online just don't know how long that will take.

Patti

Thumper,
You could always use the "Green Acres" method like Oliver did. (You know,,,,, climb the pole with a couple of alligator clips and "PRESTO",,,,,,, you've got an internet connection!) ;D However,,,,, you may want to do some reading up on how they route the power lines,,,,,,, I guess 220 volts would be a little hard on the modem! :
Hope the move goes well and hurry back. ;D

I still reference those great pix you took of the silencer ring location and removal when someone asks about it. Have a good move, and see you down the forum.

They usually have a little more than 220. (like 500,000 volts) Talk about moden eradication. That would not be good.

You guys are too kind! We'll miss ya.
We could climb up the pole but the way we use the internet around here there'd be a big fight at the top of that pole
They probably have a library with internet up in town but that would be more than 20 miles away. soooooooo
I took a few pic and thought I'd share them.
moving dirt
flat house pad
travel trailer rear view
travel trailer front view
I just wish I had the camera yesterday. Now that was fun!
Had the guys hooking up the power and they had 4 BIG trucks that got stuck. The dirt guy had to pull out the dump truck with his tractor. The container guy was scared to drive in then he got stuck trying to back down the drive. He sat out there for 5 hours and another guy came to help him and that was a laugh and a half. They put a 40' container on a 20' flat bed Then the 2nd container guy got stuck and had to get pulled out to. It was very exciting.
BTW, pulled that 38' TT with my Ram, it towed like a dream. Pulled her in and had it set up in no time.
It'll be real nice once we are in the new house ;D
can't wait.

COOL...........
[/quote]

Yep 10 acres in the middle of nowhere
It's 20 miles west of I-95 and those 20 miles are nothing but mostly woods. The way we like it. Closest neighbor is about 800' down the road and can't see her place from mine.

Patti
