A Sad Day in the Land of Hoss
Click HERE to honor the passing of my 4 year old baby. She's officially in the hands of another man now. Sigh...turned the keys over this afternoon.
In honor of my truck, here she is when she was just an infant. It was a good ride ole' girl. I know you're going to make your new owner a very happy man. Live long and prosper...and may the force be with you.
For those who missed out on the other half of this story, I sold my truck because I got a company car and it just didn't make sense to keep making payments on a truck that sat in the driveway all the time.

That pic was obviously pre-concrete bedliner.
Rear end is too high to have that much cement in it.
Since it was only 2 wheel drive, it really wasn't a truck.
Now you'll be driving basically the same thing, just with a covered trunk.

It's not nice to make fun of the dead, Phox.
Hmmm...I wonder if this would be an appropriate time to reveal once and for all the truth about the concrete bedliner. Did I really do it??

And yes, I DO believe you had a concrete bedliner... you can't make that stuff up!

You obviously have you reasons to get rid of it. Personaly, if I got a company car I would still make my payments on a truck that just sat there. Although I would drive the.......HECK... out of it on weekends. I still need my truck for other reasons and just could not live without it.
Non the less, I'm sure it was a VERY hard thing to do.

So how's that new concrete trunk liner/gas tank safety shield doing in that Crown Vic? I'm sure that the ride is better but what I want to know is how the fuel economy and handling were affected.
