S&W Sigma 9mm

I have a chance to buy private party 9mm for $350. Includes 6 15 rd high caps and the weapon is flawless. It looks new with only about a box or two fired. Good deal?

Thats too much for that gun used. I have the smae one in a 40 cal and I like it. I carry it in the truck. I bought mine about 6 months ago from buds gunshop for 299.00 and it came with a 50.00 mail in rebate and two extra magazines. you might want to look around.

I have the sigma .40 cal and it is a great gun for protection but it is not a very accurate one. I paid about 350.00 new. You might want to price some new ones at local gun shops.

The 1st gens of that gun sucked, the 2nd just a little better and the 3rd gens are okay. But I agree look around sounds a littler pricy for being used.

Isn't that the gun S&W was giving away when you bought one of their better guns?

I dont know how you feel about 1911's but you can get a Rock Island Armory NIB for not much more. Sure it is a no frills gun. But it'll go bang every time.

Run don't walk away from it. Sigmas are low quality. I bought one for 80 bucks with 10 round mags. I sold it asap.

If you can find a Glock you will be much better off.

Glock, XD, CZ are all guns in that used price range. They are all much much better guns.

What do you plan to use it for? I keep mine in my truck and keep my Kimber in my nightstand. If the truck gets broken in to I am not out a 900.00 gun, however if i have to use the S&W i know it will work.

Thanks for the info. I own Glocks and 1911's, Sig Saurs, etc. already. I know a kid with the Sigma and he needs the money. Didn't know much about that gun and didn't really want a 9mm but I thought for the price it might be ok with no papers. Guess not. I don't really need another handgun. I need another AR first and then what I really want is the Sako TR42 in .338 Lapua.

Yes, Sig Sauer is different. Sigma is just a model name used by Smith & Wesson.
