S-10 help??

I have a 98 s-10 2wd with the 2.2L engine and noticed that I only show between 15-25 psi oil pressure when warmed up. Any ideas?? It shows close to 60 when cold at start-up. Also when I change oil (5w-30) would it make a difference in oil pressure if I went to 10w-30 or 40?? or switching it to synthetic?? currently has 70k on odometer. thanks

Nothing noticeable on the oil pressure change with thicker grades. Need to find the root problem. IIRC there is a problem with the oil galley for the timing chain. Can't remember if it caused low oil pressure or not though. Don't know why that is stuck in my head, but I remember it for some reason. Also....may want to check with a manual guage - could be a bad sending unit. 15-25 is still within specs , so I wouldn't get too concerned.
