Got the Escape Trailer generator problem solved yesterday. I had looked at the different brands that make a generator that puts out 15kw continuous and decided on the Generac brand. Only problem was we didn't have the kind of money they wanted. I also wanted to physically SEE one to make sure it would fit on the trailer tongue, and hear it run to determine the noise level, so we went to a local dealer. I told the owner why I wanted to hear and see it and he asked all kinds of questions about our program. After about an hour of talking, he decided to donate 1/2 the cost to us and become a program sponsor! We got a 2500 dollar gen-set for just over 1200 and we are quite happy with that, not to mention it looks like we'll have a long term sponsoring partnership.
Hey HAT!!! We're all just worried about ya is all. Wouldn't be the same without ya at 110%. And it seems as though things have been wearing on ya lately. That's all. It probably seems as though there are a hundred hens brooding over ya, but just cause we want you better.
You have been going through a lot and I for one am looking forward to the day that you post up pics of you prancing through a daisy strewn field singing the sound of music in your OD's.

Evening DTR
Worked in the garage today for a while before it got too hot. I'm pretty sure it was 92* and about 300% humidity. Looks like it's gonna cool off next week.
Went to my parents business tonight. They wanted to have a cook out for their employees and their families. They asked me to do the grillin' for them tonight. Made some good burgers and beer brats for them all. Everyone loved the food!
Home and relaxing tonight. Stayed up late last night, a friend stopped by so we BSed in the garage and drank some beer till about 0100.

Good deal cooking for the crew. that kinda thing goes along way. Sounds like the folks are doing good too.
looking for an OEM rim for my truck. Had a rock give me flat this morning so had to get a new set of tires. One of the rims had TWO cracks in the bead. According to DTR's resident welding inspector and abstract knowledge keeper, NO WELDING ON RIMS!!! Sooooooo, I need one. If anybody has one they would like to sell.
Gonna check the classifieds too.
