I told the owner why I wanted to hear and see it and he asked all kinds of questions about our program. After about an hour of talking, he decided to donate 1/2 the cost to us and become a program sponsor! We got a 2500 dollar gen-set for just over 1200 and we are quite happy with that, not to mention it looks like we'll have a long term sponsoring partnership.
Cool!

It's amazing what hooked on phonics can do for you.

Morning, just a quick check in. It's raining and Hunter has plans for Pawpaw.

Man, I keep saying it, these drugs ain't doing anything for my mind, they just keep me from going nuts from the pain. I'm good without a name change, thank you very much!

I wondered why they did not give me one of those, I wanted it. I keep an ice pack on it all day, and work it about once an hour. I can almost straighten it all the way out, and bend it back to 90*.

Man, that's just NASTY!!! Thanks, Bobby. I'm taking it easy and trying not to be a dumb Jarhead. Can't get hooked on something that don't feel good, huh? Have a safe trip, take some pictures for us!

You're just jealous!!!

Mornin, DTR. Slept better last night, so did the wife. Leg feels a little better this morning, better range of motion. Just had some breakfast and pills, sipping on some coffee right now. We're calling my buddies at the church to see if they'll come pick up my extra recliner and take it to the church so I can be comfortable tomorrow. Best seat in the house!

Ok, back to play

Yeah, I don't know why a lot of you guys think I'm stupid/young/hardheaded... You act like I'm too retarded to do the right thing. I want to get better, not be hurt longer.

I agree, probably a better way to be carried into a church...

I don't think that at all. I DO think you're young, compared to me at least! (shut up Eric) Hardheaded? I have no idea. It usually comes with 'young', but I don't really know you well enough to pass a verdict on that one. Retarded? Not a chance! You've got yourself too far in life and into an enviable position to be 'retarded'. I DO know that you take things too personally sometimes, but if I had my life to live over I think I'd be better off if I had used your life as a model to follow. If I had, I'd probably be looking at a comfortable retirement right about now instead of being the sad eyed, wet, homeless puppy everyone has to take care of.

I know that if someone says something negative about my wife and I ask them in a mature and polite manner not to, and they do it again, in the very next thing they say to me, then they are probably not my friend, and I should probably stop talking to them.

Wow, I had no idea I did that after being asked not to.

I publicly and sincerely apologize for my vast lack of respect for you, your wife and your wishes. This was unacceptable behavior on my part and will not happen again.
