Roadtrip to S FL.....
Moving a relative to South FL this weekend.....San Antonio to Ft. Myers.
IH-10 to IH-75....Not that I have a ton of extra time but is there anything that's a "must see" along the way besides my planned stops at all the Hooters Restaurants?

Tire psi & miles per gallon
well, managed to hit 9/15 Hooters on the 1400 mile trip.
One notable difference was the miles per gallon calculated. 2003 Honda Accord w/new tires. The owner was going by the recommended tire pressure listed in the owners manual.. 30psi. From San Antonio to Pensacola we calculated 27-28 mpgs. When filling up and leaving Pensacola I thought the tires looked low on air, checked them and yep 30psi. After looking on the sidewall the max psi was listed @ 44psi. I increased psi to 40 and acheived 31-32 mpgs over the remaining trip to S. FL an increase of 4mpgs. IH-10 from SA to Tallahasse is pretty flat and hwy 19S from there is also pretty flat so I know it was not due to the terrain, speed was also the same @ 70-75mph. Just a real world example on how the tire pressure really can make a difference.
