removind dried concrete splatter
i have some dried concrete splatter on my work shop (from when they poured my pad) the splatter is on galvanized metal. what products are out there to remove it?? something i can spray on it over a period of time to loosen it, then scrape it off? thanks. rob

Mix up some water and vinegar 50/50....stronger mix can be used if you need, also stop by the concrete place they have a acid they use also, can't think what kind it is off top of my head....They use the 50/50 to soak tools in and its mild enough not to eat up the metal, don't know how it reacts with the galvanizing, so try a test spot first. If you have a concrete plant nearby, maybe you can ask them for alittle bit of their remover. We use an acid based cleaner for our trucks but it's kinda of agressive. The one I would recommend is "mudslide" by zep, it works slow, so it may be the way for you. You can leave it overnight and wash it of.
