You will save money on rifle, but not as much as you would loading handgun. The biggest advantage to loading rifle is hand-tailoring a load to your particular rifle and quality bullets. Cor-Loks are mass produced bullets and accuracy is usually adaquate, but nowhere near as accurate as Sierra's, Hornadys, Noslers, etc... To get those in factory ammo you have to pay for Premium. My Mod700 7mm Mag wouldn't shoot under 1.5" @100 yds w/ any factory ammo, but the handload I have worked up for it will shoot a Sierra GameKing 160 gr @ 3000 fps and groups under 3/4-1" all day long. Once you get started handloading, and get past the initial investment, you'll be hooked. I personally don't save much money anymore because, even though I save money reloading, I find myself shooting way more than I did back when I was paying for factory ammo. Its a lot easier to go out to the range and shoot 100-150 rnds of .45 ACP and not be thinking in the back of my mind that I just blew $40. -Steve
