Talking Hey Girl! if you've got the bucks to buy...

lot out there to pick from. if you have the room how about the 200 bucks porta-garage thingy. we have one (big) for our boat next to the barn. works out nicely. just a suggestion from the 95 acre, middle of no where country living, deer in the yard, turkey behind the barn gal over to the right coast.
(jealous yet?) 10 minutes from the nearest neighbor is fine with me....

good goin' redleg, look forward to hearing of your sept fishing triumphs!

back from up North, went to NY state fair. won a motorcycle challenge with a state trooper bike. owner none too happy......I had a blast! got to take care of an eagle for an afternoon. hubby was thrilled to hold him.proud.
Canada appearantly heard we were there....they parked across from us.

hope all is well , good news 3/4 locoman? ALWAYS- missing the elvis guitars...beautiful gates though- wow get some bucks with iron work liek that!

Heidi on a day off, then back to body work.

Spent yesterday startin' the fabrication of my sawmill carriage. Took the trailer to an event this mornin', spent the afternoon tryin' to figure out how to get warpage outta the 2" X 3" X 1/4" rectangular tubing on the sawmill carriage. Will spend tomorrow actually tryin' to put what I decided today into action and get the warpage outta the sawmill carriage. Sometimes I hate steel work!

Coffee's on for the night shift.

Good evening! Grandpa went back to FL today, It was nice visiting with him, haven't seen him much in the last few yrs. Had my interview with the power plant today, went very well but after going through the interview the Job doesn't sound like something I would wanna do, I'll keep looking. On a good note the GF starts her new job on Oct 1! I'm very happy for her! I took her out for some dinner and a few drinks tonight to celebrate after being unemployed for almost 7 months. Work was fine today, the rumor mill says we'll be bought and taken over before election day instead of the 1st of next yr. The rumor mill has been pretty accurate over the last yr too. Gotta mow tomorrow after work, grass is getting long again. Looks like the drag strip will be my plan for friday night, buddy of mine wants to go watch the local cars and track drag and possibly drag his 08 dodge too. Gotta be up early again.

I see the Janitor put out some night time coffee. Here's some night time ph00, tea, sweet tea, and freash jug of water in the cooler since everyone isn't a coffee drinker.

Oh yeah the smashed fingers are pretty swollen today but they still can bend some what and don't hurt as bad as yesterday.

Evening. Just got home from class. Need some coffee. Gonna be up for awhile...well atleast a bit longer. Pretty stoked about my classes. Hell of a lot of reading already though. My US Lit class required me to read 110 pages of Whitman poems..in two nights. Tough, but I got it done.

Tonight I had my first session for my US Frontier class. History is such an awesome major. Glad I have made the switch. Excellent professors certainly help. I'm genuinley interested in my education again. Glad to have that fire under me once again. Finally found the major for me, after three years lol...

Anyway, back to the books!

I used t live out in the sticks and no close neighbors was a good thing. My place was heated with a wood stove and every once in a while I'd get carried away stoking the thing for the night. Would have been a sight to see with me standing in the open door way in the b-day suit @ -40* to cool off the place.

Heidi, heck yea I'm jealous, who in their right mind wouldn't be.Hey gal, already thought of that, can't because I live in a messed up subdivision that has Rules that no one else follows, but with my luck they would enforce all of them.Got a new plan though, tell ya bout it later.
Janitor, unfortunately I don't water the plants like some people I know.
Ah Oh Ofcmark's on Vacation, sleepin in time. Pots and pans bangin together while I'm running to get the heck out of there

Glad your fingers are on the mend 3/4. That's never fun. When I was younger, I had a truck up on a jack. Positioned the jerk stands, (and you'll see why I call 'em that in a minute!), then promptly let the jack down onto them. Unfortunatly, I had my fingers restin' on one of 'em! That hurt for 'bout a month!

Have a good vaca ofcmarc! You gonna be like all the rest of 'em here and not even poke your head in to say 'hello' once in awhile?

Coffee, ph00 an' sweet tea is ready. You're on your own for donuts.

Been there done that and I feel your pain.

Seized up 235 excavator roller, 100 ton press and a small slip = 9 stitches in the hamburger that was my little finger. (need a smiley that is bitting tounge to keep from blurting out expletives)

785 brake pack, 25 ton crane caged nuts and a miss placed finger...... No stitches that time but a whole repitoire of new curses were invented.

I'm a bit more carful nowadays.

Wink heheheh OUCH! painful just reading them...

easy on the fingers guys! ow.... you pay for everything when you get older and then it HURTS! to move .... I seem to have a penchance for hitting my left hand with a sledge hammer while holding a mason chisel....get into work mode and you forget safety...can tell rainy days in advance though

CIN, yeah- forgot about those lovely little rules...ugh. hope the plans surprise you with the perfect solution! remember not to get into a forclosure sale...not good on the bank account.

FIVER....thoughts for the DW and you. no more house guests , now bad situations-the hope is good things coming soon.

Davey Lord of the Lunchroom is a busy fella- no see um on site...miss him.

Vacation boy-ofc mark. you talking state prison or anchorage lock up city police?

Always- bid work, ahhhhhh now I get it. forgot about such things.

3/4 loco man- here's a pic for you. scary to see how big them things are!
glad that you trust your gut and will keep looking. keep the fingers pain free!
happy for the GF. nicer that you showed it too!

More of a work release.......

After we get back, me thinks the truck is going up on stands for some TLC before the weather turns cold.

My vacation was planned around my regular week off but I ended up with my next regular work week off as well so 3 weeks off here I come! I may forget what workin' is like. Either that or I'll need to go back to work to rest.

T minus 30 min and counting..........
