Here is what I had in the woods right behind my back fence the other day.







Needless to say, they are no longer among the living. They were not venomous but I treat every snake as if they are venomous. That may not be politically correct but, oh well.

My Dad got bit by a Rattlesnake a year and 1/2 ago, and he was in bad shape. I think it actually goofed up one of his heart valves. He's OK now, but DANG!
Last year one of our dogs got bit twice at the same time. Ended up costing us $1,200 bucks. The antivenin is the same cost for dogs and people!

I leave all snakes alone (I even move them off the road), but rattlesnakes around my house get the death penalty. I love my wife and son!
