I gotta start paying better attention. I originally thought the poles were elect conduits. With the line going through the grommets around the poles that makes perfect sense.
If I saw that thing attached to something around here I would blow it up myself.

Tip for checking the t-stat to see if it is the problem. Remove yellow (or blue), green and red wire from stat base, tie them all together and wire-nut, tape off and see if unit cooling comes on. This takes t-stat out of the sequence. Yellow/blue is compressor wire, green is fan and red is 24 volt control circuit. If it operates when twisted together then stat is shot and cooling will come up. I would say if temp gets below 65 in tent, manually break 24 volts off until it gets hot again, but with tent at 120+, I do not think you will have that problem.

Ha, this was in Afghanistan... nothing like that worked. Those ACs probably had not worked for four or five years. We had AC guys out there, just no parts.
Thanks, tho...

Lucky they have a pretty good warranty on those drills.
Not sure you can do anything about the cat.

That drill is 10+ years old, so I think the warranty ran out....
I ordered a new case for it, and I have to switch everything over to the new case, as believe it or not, it still worked even though it was broken in half.
$40 for a new case. Better than throwing out a good hammer drill.
Not my cat, but he's quite stunning looking for a cat.

Mr T-man
Drills,
Trees,
Cat Box?
And a dog in a sweater,
Wow it has real replacable parts.
Didn't happen to drop that Makita off a ladder did you?
I have bent several spindles that way.
Window looked a nightmare.
Again, impressive work.

The trees belong to Cougar... and are quite spectacular to look at
The box is a "turtle enclosure" I built for a customer of mine. She's a rehabber and needed a place for her salvaged turtles to hang out. Since she didn't want the turtle to feel 'enclosed" she asked for a window in the side...... Yeah, I know... for the turtle to see the humans about it...
The window job took about 6 hours to physically install, although the prep work took about 5 hours alone.. It's an anderson 400 series that needed to be stained on the interior, as well as clad on the exterior. The window, with optional grilles cost me nearly $650 by itself.
I disassembled the entire window so that I could stain and poly every surface to prevent / deter rot. This step is crucial for longevity in any project, as most installers just stick the window in there and call it a day. I can't do that, as the bare wood will immediately take on moisture and start to rot. Not a good thing.
Stained and polyurethaned
I seal the RO's as the first step, and make an informal "PAN" for the window. This prevents moisture that wicks past the assembly from doing any further damage to the house framing structure itself.
