OUCH - - not fun with these infections around now. Prayers went up from down here. He is close to my little one there in Seattle with the leukemia.

Thanks again guys and gals!

I hear you about the Seattle relationship with your grandchild Fiver! We keep her in our prayers also! Thank you!

Don stilll has some kidney issues so his second surgery will go down Thurs or Friday. He walked around the hospital for 20 minutes today according to his sister so he is keeping hard at it.

Thanks again, Kurt

I need to re-request prayers for my friend Don's family. He passed away yesterday due to complications from his second surgery.

He was 41. He leaves a wife, their two children and two foster children.

He was a man of God and lived appropriately.

Please remember his family in your prayers.

Thank you all, Kurt

Still in shock, visited him last Saturday and he really looked good and ready to get out of there.....

Just can't accept he's gone yet.

Thank you.

Wow, Kurt - - this is too close to my friend that died about 2 months ago. He was really improving on his Chemo treatments, gaining strength enough to get outside a bit - - big guy about 6'6". Saw him on Thursday - - Saturday in emergency room, gone at 11pm Sunday night. Another good Christian, active in our church music and Sunday School class. We had his talked at length with his widow this morning - - she is really struggling. It somewhat broadsided her. She is having trouble getting back involved with anything they did together.

We never know the plan of God as to why, at only 41, he would take a believer. We just accept He knows best and has a plan for this family. I have wondered about a lot of things God allowed in my life, but in retrospect they gave me strength and understanding I could never have gained without them occurring. This then allowed me to better understand when someone else went thru a similar thing and I could then better be a help to them. We will be remembering them in our prayers.

Kurt that is terrible. I had assumed he was already out.
Prayers for his friends, family and for his wife and kids.
