I hope the cops stand out side and watch the next time they get robbed. Maybe they'll be so lucky as to be able to watch as he gets smacked around for a while before they intervene.

If something did happen inside the store, with a cop outside, theyd get sued for not doing anything.

True, But if I were a cop in front of that guys store, it might actually be worth the personal, legal, and financial sacrifice to let everyone know that when you shun those that protect you, you are on your own. Or at least you should be.

Owner just doesn't want to have to wear his sunglasses to work everyday, or have an officer accidently grab the "wrong" muffin.

HIPPIES!!!!!!

I was wondering what was going on, until the owner came on. That explained it.

I bet you 5 bucks that I could go in that joint and mess the place up, the cops would not even respond. They could be standing outside going, "Don't throw those muffins!!! Put the coffee pot down! Stop kicking over those chairs!!!!" "Sorry, buddy, you told me I could not come in..."

They would be pointing those thing out ahead of time, right?

They aughta put half a dozen patrols in front of there everyday and stop every car driving by and start a municiple construction project in front of his door.

Well at least the cops will be able to get more work done now,

J/K,

What a way to invite and investigation,

The officers must be impeding the sale and flow of drugs. I'm thinking a few months and the owner is in the slammer for distribution?

He doesn't need police to deter crime in his business... he will shower criminals with love and peace and they will change their ways.

It is people like him that are the reason we have the problems we do. At least people in that area know which store to rob if they are down on their luck or just a career criminal.

He should just put up a sign.

No Cops In Here
Rob Me Please.

Or just station an officer with a "Drug Dog" on the PUBLIC sidewalk in front of his shop
