PDA's
Anyone ever access this site w/ their PDA? I copied all my favs from my pc to my new PDA and decided to logon to the site so I could see how it looked. It was pretty cool! I logged right in and was scrolling thru the threads w/ ease! Obviously there's a bit more scrolling than on a PC, but it wasn't bad at all!

I've got the Dell Axim X30 w/ 624Mhz processor. Still haven't messed w/ everything on it. Dell has a nice GPS for it as well that I'm considering. So before I take my next big trip, I'll probably pick that up as well! It'll be real nice someday when they have wireless hotspots all over the country that you can connect to while on long boring trips!

at my local best buy store i picked up this GPS package for my laptop computer called Earthmate GPS. i really like this, i think i paid about 150$ for it and all it does is it has a satelite thing that plugs into the USB port and you install a cd that has all the maps and roads on it and it gives you visible and verbal directions. it works just like the other gps systems except it has a much bigger screen (laptop) so its nice and easy to see. only downside is finding a place to sit the laptop thats not in the way...

I have a high end Hewlet Packard PDA with wireless internet. It works great! I can even tag onto other wireless networks and access the internet from all over town. Most folks must leave their routers on "broadcast". Mine has reduced pic size to fit the screen or I can click it off for full sized pics. My HP uses Microsoft Mobile OS so it communicates with my laptop like it's part of it.

Well, I can get the main page pulled up on my blackberry but I can't get into the forums yet. Still working on it.
The blackberry has some limitations as a PDA but it sure is nice only carrying 1 device.

That would be nice! I did see some laptop holders somewhere that seemed pretty decent! I just don't remember where?!
I think that Dell GPS said it will work w/ either a laptop or your PDA as well. I had a DeLorme Earthmate, but sold it on Ebay!
