Yup, go for the hat. Ever do the Monty Hall problem? It can hurt your head.
Evening all,
Two breakrooms are far better than no breakrooms.
And if I have to share a bathroom with somebody I can't think of anybody---never mind
Last time I looked your berries were blue too.
I have only admired but never touched your berries because that place in Canada was charging too much.
That is a nice unit. I think some of these units do a better job of regulating and monitoring the product than I can.
-Must be something else going on in her area.
Could tell you to go to the CDC and Mayo to look at their stats but most telling, check with the better doctors.
See what they are doing with their own families.
-There certainly is no guarantee that the vaccination will prevent you from getting the flu
and if the majority of our health professionals start saying the shot is a bad idea than I wont take it.
Until then I think the bad out weighs the good.
Maybe its a regional thing. In December AK Air had to cancel 24 flights due to lack of crew because of the flu. Most of the off duty pilots and volunteers who volunteered to take up the positions had received a shot.
If your Daughters hospital is only having fatalities on people who received a flu shot,
you guys need to start an immediate investigation because there is something more going on.
Your area is seeing a real abnormality. You may even want to get the press involved.
For some reason I really want some blueberry waffles, bacon and maple syrup for dinner.

40 years ago there were about 3 vaccinations recommended for children. Now there's a bunch. The incidence of brain related disorders, like autism, learning disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, etc has been increasing. It might be just a co-incidence that those two items, when graffed, are like hand in glove, but I doubt it.
Personal experience; one of my children experienced a petite mall seizure from a DPT vaccination. That's when we stopped getting vaccinations for our family.

What you say sort of makes sense since the flu is more likely to kill people 65 and older,
young children, diabetics, people with heart problems, asthma and other at risk people.
That's why they recommend people at risk get the flu shot.
Please keep your kids away from my grandkids, in fact keep them away from everybody.
I bet Lary got to see kids dying from Diphtheria.
A Marine with a bull neck is a good thing. A child with a bull neck is a terrible thing.

For their own gain and despite proof otherwise, Wakefield and creeps like J. McCarthy disregard real issues like neurodevelopmental toxins
that actually have a chance of causing autism, ADHD and other bad things.
They are evil.

Ok, note to self (if I forget please remind me), if anyone around here likes the good classic Stephen King novels like 'The Shining' and 'The Stand', his new one titled 'Dr Sleep' is his best work in 25 years - more info (without being a spoiler) tomorrow. I think NE_Frmhnd might need a good book.
Morning folks. I hate traveling late in the day. We didn't get to Knoxville until 0130. I completed my paperwork for the week and just wanted to check in for a minute. 0600 is going to get here real quick.

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!
MY SEATTLE GANG IS MOVING BACK TO THE ISLAND THIS WEEKEND.
I am so grateful for all the thoughts and prayers and kind words from my friends on DTR. You have been so supportive of us during this stressful time. We appreciate it immensely. I have forwarded many of the notes, posts and comments on to them to encourage them and let them know how many people across the US and even world have been praying for them. It will be soooo good to know they are home and settle in as good as you can get into a house that is still packed up from moving all their stuff into it the same week Ianna went into the hospital 6 months ago. It will take time to settle out, but at least they will have some room to play and move around. God is good.
Off to therapy. Grabbing my ph00 and out of here for now. .................

been in contained groups (army, prison guard, cop schools, law/government)
and learned the importance of vaccines. as we are all individuals, we have different levels of immunity and susceptibility. contagious is an understatement....
got a flu exposure from a toddler while out in California 2012. nothing in my weird medical history brought me closer to kissing a casket that that flu strain. remember the gov is not telling you what chemicals are in the food generation after generation. we are seeing a lot of change in just the way cattle markets run.... even the Amish here are getting flu shots, taking vitamin supplements. they closed down two hospitals to visitors in big city (Rochester ny) to contain the spread.
we did a scenario (FEMA) about three exposure related disasters. knowledge is scary....resources scarce. it is all about containment...
off soapbox and out the door to son's place- motorcycle prep in six below...
keep the faith farmerscot! get a visiting nurse...

I have no problem with vaccines for the real bad stuff- but for everything? No. If your immune system never has to fight anything off, it's not good for you, how many farm kids do you see with severe food allergies or asthma? And we played in anything that was around to play in.

Conspiracy. I know how the system works in Alaska all to well. Someone wanted the airport shut down for a while. If you knew what goes through Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport on an hourly basis, you can follow the money.
Bomb Found in Carry-On Bag at Alaska Airport: Officials
By Alexander Smith
Alaska's main airport shut down one of its security checkpoints for an hour Sunday after an oil worker tried to take a suspected pipe bomb onto a plane, officials said.
The man was arrested at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport and was in custody pending further charges as of 6:30 p.m. (10:30 p.m. ET), NBC station KTUU reported.
Airport operations officer Sharon Long said FBI and bomb-disposal teams were called just before 2 p.m. local time when "a small, handmade explosive device was found at a screening point in a carry-on bag."
Airport police and fire chief Jesse Davis said the device appeared to be a pipe bomb.
The suspect, an oil worker headed for the state's North Slope, told FBI agents that the device was used for setting off avalanches, according to the Anchorage Daily News.
Davis told the newspaper the man was due to board a Shared Services Aviation flight, a joint service by energy firms ConocoPhillips and BP that flies employees and contractors to Alaska's oil-rich North Slope.
Davis said the bomb did not have a triggering device. "It appeared, based on [the bomb-disposal team's] knowledge, that it wasn't an immediate danger to the traveling public," he said.

Sausage Aficionado (In training)
Good afternoon all y'all, like Scotty said, it is a holiday weekend up here so I am home from work for the day. I have a new addition to the 'Sean Fail' file. Yesterday afternoon and evening the roads in southern Alberta were pretty nasty from blowing snow. After dinner I looked out our window and saw a bunch of headlights about a half mile up our dirt road. I could tell that someone had put their car in the ditch. I had had a couple of glasses of wine by that time so I decided to stay home and not go out in a vehicle to try and help. Fast forward to this morning and said car was still in the ditch. While I was outside working on my honey-do list I saw people show up at the stuck car so I hopped in my snowplow truck with tire chains and went to see if I could help. I have pulled a lot of people out of the ditch with that truck but one of my rules is that I never hook the tow strap up to the vehicle to be extracted. That way any damage is the owners problem. In this case maybe I should have checke a little better. The owner put the tow strap around the mounting brackets for the bumper. Roll the tape forward 3 minutes and my truck and the bumper were 15 feet up the road and the car was right where it landed after the owner rolled it. At that point it became pretty clear that my truck was not getting that car back on the road
It turns out the driver hit a snow drift across the road, then a big patch of ice all while driving way too fast for the road conditions. He remembers hitting his head on the driver's side window and the next thing he knew he was about 15 feet out into a field with the car shiny side up but a partly caved in roof. When he hit the deep snow at the side of the road he rolled it but was going fast enough to actually get a little bit of air time. A professional tow truck just got the car back on the road and I guess any accident where you roll a vehicle and walk away from it is a good outcome. He WAS wearing a seatbelt.
Oh yeah, and I got to meet some of my newest neighbors.

I'm trying hard here to see your point:
What you say sort of makes sense since the flu is more likely to kill people 65 and older,
young children, diabetics, people with heart problems, asthma and other at risk people.
That's why they recommend people at risk get the flu shot.
If you mean you don't get the kids vaccinated for polio, small pox and the other preventable deadly diseases than I am sorry to hear that.
Please keep your kids away from my grandkids, in fact keep them away from everybody.
I bet Lary got to see kids dying from Diphtheria.
A Marine with a bull neck is a good thing. A child with a bull neck is a terrible thing.
Forget the petite mall seizure your kid might have gotten from the DPT vaccination.
I would rather my kid have a grand mal seizure than have them die of Diphtheria.
I hope that doesn't mean you are going to side with a proven fraud like Andrew Wakefield, the guy who started our current autism anti-vax movement.
A guy who can no longer practice medicine in the UK or here because of his lies and fabricated studies.
A guy who the GMC has charged with 12 counts involving the abuse of developmentally challenged children and "has deliberately failed in his duties as a responsible consultant", acted both against the interests of his patients, and "dishonestly and irresponsibly" in his published research.
For their own gain and despite proof otherwise, Wakefield and creeps like J. McCarthy disregard real issues like neurodevelopmental toxins

However it fails because I don't really know who Andrew Wakefield is. I did cite a personal experience with DPT and a child of mine.
You don't get the doughnut though, because I do not wish harm on you. You get, instead, a can of sardines packed in extra virgin olive oil.
I also have been researching the whole area of environmental factors, autoimmune disorders, and modern degenerative diseases. I can attest to receiving personal relief of several by following the logical path suggested and eliminating the irritants. (joint pain, blood pressure, and obesity) Vaccinations come up in the discussion for several different reasons, all proven and valid.
