Nother new toy
My Honda riding mower spit out the bearings from the right side blade last week after only ten years of abuse and no maintenance. The thing has never had the spark plug out of it in ten years. Man, you just can't get good machinery any more.
So, I took it to the shop and said fix it and call me when it's done. The dude said it could be two to three weeks if they have to order parts. I asked what am I supposed to do in the mean time, my grass is already hip deep to nine foot individuals (edited) and still growing. I'm afraid to drive my truck through the yard cause I'll get lost in the forage.
Anyway, I went by the John Deere dealer when I got back from the Honda shop and there set my new toy just waiting for me to turn the key and load it up. John Deere Gt 235, hydrostatic drive, beer can holder, cruise control, and the works. The thing has a v-twin 18 horse K motor in it that won't quit and even sounds bad too. Now, if I could just get a turbo and some headers on it.
